Mani heaps laurels on SPB

'I am a great fan of legendary playback singer S P Balasubrahmanyam and am amazed at his ability to sing continuously over four hours, said acclaimed filmmaker Mani Ratnam.

Taking part in an event organised to celebrate the completion of 100 weeks of SPB concerts by M J Shriram at at The Black & White bar, The Residency in Chennai , Mani Ratnam said, 'he is a bundle of talent'.

Shriram renders golden melodies of S P Balasubrahamanyam every Thursday at the venue. S P Balasubrahmanyam himself was present on the occasion and felicitated Shriram .

Shriram said he was equally thrilled, that this show has reached a century without a break. Veteran music composer M S Viswanathan, actress Suhasini, music director Gangai Amaran and actor Prasanna were also present on the occasion.
