AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

Change of image for Sarath

After the resounding success of Vettaiyaadu Vilaiyaadu, Gowtham Menon is ready with Pachai Kili Muthucharam. Sarath Kumar and Jyothika play the lead roles, supported by the seasoned model Milind Soman and newcomer Andrea.

A regular in Selvaraghavan's movies, cinematographer Aravind Krishna has moved out of the banner for the first time. His teaming with Gowtham has aroused the expected interest in film circles.

The outline of the story is about blackmail and extra-marital affairs. Driven to despair is the man, aftermath of a mistake arousing out of passion. In the view of Gowtham, even an amenable person is charged up when his sensitivity is touched by an unexpected happening. 'Emotion and action gets the precedence when the individual gets into the act of setting things right. The other highlight is the relationship between Sarath and Jyothika portrayed in a simple and imaginative way. The sense of understanding should be an eye opener for all couples.

The cute relationship between Sarath and Jyothika will be a great attraction. Have done my best to wrap a good package spilling to two hours.' Jyothika's first movie after marriage and lyrics of actress Rohini with Thamarai) are the interesting sidelights. Gowtham's association with Harris has an extended run. Milind Soman's debut film in Tamil has negative shades to his character while Andrea is the new kid on the block.

Confident of the film's good run is Sarath, plunging into a role sans heroism for the first time. 'The audience will find something to be identified from the lead characters. The movie should find their support.'

Just as well for Sarath to get out of the rut of formula films depicting the hero in the larger-than-life scale. 'It was time for a change to play a soft character, changing stance under compelling circumstances. A great feeling to have come under the wings of Gowtham. Easily it will pass off as a landmark film in my career.'

Come Friday, the movie will hit the screens.
