        You think of the yesteryear actor M R Radha and instantly associate him with Ratha Kaneer. Even after five decades the film is still talked about. In these days of remake runs making waves, not surprisingly the film is to be remade in the same name.

        Only the other day at the audio launch Kamal Haasan let out a secret, the longing Chevalier Sivaji Ganesan had to do the Periyar character. Having bagged that coveted role, Sathyaraj has evinced interest to get that ultimate one.

        Buzz has it that comedian Vivekh could get that prized catch, with the huge impact of mouthing the lines of Radha in many of his films. As the movie is more on the lines of humour coated messages, Vivekh is likely to be in the short list though technicians are finalised.

        Interestingly, the movie is produced by T Kannan, nephew of P A Perumal (National Theatres), producer of the original version.
