AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

Simbu is Kettavan

Simbu is generally seen as the enfant terrible of the industry. The young hero perhaps understands the image he has. And with a sense of irony that the industry doesn't credit him with, he has confidently named his new movie Kettavan.

It takes some impish courage and a casual chutzpah to do a film with a such a title as the Tamil film industry and its patrons are known to baulk at such 'negative' things.

The film's title shows the kind of brazen devilry that Simbu is ready to back his hunches, howsoever 'shocking' they maybe in value.

Kettavan is directed by debutant Nandakumar who had worked as Simbhu's associate in Manmadhan.

Namitha and Lekha Washington are the heroines. The latter started her career as VJ in a popular music channel. After Vallavan and Manmadhan, Santhanam joins hands with Silambarasan again for Kettavan.

Yuvanshankar Raja is scoring the music. The film is planned to be released for the Deepavali of 2007.

After his sparkling show in Chennai 600 028, Premji Gangaiamaran, son of veteran music composer - director Gangaiamaran, has been in demand. Kettavan will mark his next big film.

Vijay Milton cranks the camera for the movie, produced by former Tiruchi Film Distributors Association president R Viswanathan.
