        Going back to the old titles and proven hits is vogue in Kollywood. One such movie was Ninaithadai Mudipavan, an all-time hit of matinee idol M G Ramachandran or simply MGR.

        Jai Akash has the prerogative of doing the protagonist character in the movie of the same title. Keerthi Chawla, among the five in the recent hit Naan Avan Illai , has bagged the all-important female lead role.

        Director M K Thiagarajan, with hits like Managara Kaaval and Vetri Mel Vetri said the movie is based on the real happening when extremists barged into the Parliament few years ago. 'As a CBI officer on the probe, Jai Akash did a lot of home work to get into the skin of the character.'

        To get the realistic look, the unit is planning to shoot the second schedule in and around Delhi. Thiagarajan hoped to get the permission of the higher officials to can some important segments in parts of the Capital, not seen before.
