        Karthika, who re placed Bhavana in director Bala's much-hyped Nan Kadavul, plays the role of a blind beggar. After much delay, Bala recommenced shooting for the film.

        Starring Arya in the pivotal role, the movie is shaping up fast. Bala, who is known for striving excellence in his films, has cast a host of beggars in the movie.

        The production unit says that these beggars have been given monthly salary to act in the movie. We treat them with great respect. They are part of Nan Kadavul.

        The second schedule is now shot in Periyakulam and Kumbakarai. These beggars are paid Rs 2,500 per month.
