        After that stunning show in Uyir, Sangeetha's career-graph has been on a high. Not averse to do varied roles, she has donned the role of a mother in the to-be-released Evano Oruvan, remake of the smashing Marathi hit Dombivli Express.

        Fresh from that experience, Sangeetha is on the job of giving perfection to the Dhanam character, which is the title of the movie. Much of the shooting is confined in the famed Ramojirao Film City in Hyderabad and in and around places like Pethapuram and Silukoorpuram.

        Delighted at the author-backed roles coming her way, Sangeetha said she has been enjoying the best phase of her career. 'I think in more ways than one Uyir did a lot good getting the scope to perform. Things have really fallen in place since then. Breaking free of the shackles has given me the rich option to choose and pick from the range of characters coming my way. I feel that confidence is the essence for a good performance.'

        In the line-up of the huge supporting cast are Prem, Kotta Srinivasan, Ashish Vidyarthi, Girish Karnad, Ramesh Kanna and Karunas.

        G Siva is handling the story, screenplay, dialogues and direction. The movie is produced by S Kousalya Rani.
