AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

'My mom motivates me'

Suchin, son of yesteryear actress Vyjayanthimala, had his first taste of fame, getting the audience nod for some neat work in Ninaithale.

Having hit the deck, he is keen to view movies as a career option to the Masters degree he holds from Columbia University.

Presently on the job of real estate promotion, Suchin said he would like to experiment in varied roles with different shades.

Suchin's stroke of luck was in not having to look for inspiration elsewhere. 'My mother has been the pillar of support all through. With her expertise, she is the best judge to decide on the scripts coming my way and the ones I should pick.'

        Excerpts:

Q: Was films your first priority?

A: Certainly not. Everyone in my family was keen that I should be well qualified on the academic front. Having graduated in law from Delhi and with the masters degree, was into real estate. When films just happened I wanted to give it a shot. Of course, with my mother's backing.

Q:You did not look like a greenhorn in the big screen?

A: That is due to the earlier experience in films. The learning ground were the brief roles in Kannodu Kanbadhellam and a Hindi film. Ninaithale was my first attempt as hero. I thank my director Vishwas Sundar for his trust in my acting abilities. I am happy of having vindicated his faith.

Q: How does your mother support you?

A: She is my source of inspiration. When she decides on my script, things make that much easier.

Having done roles of substance in many languages, she has the experience to evaluate my performance. There were lot of valuable inputs I gained from her during and after the shoot of Ninaithale.

Q: Your experience shooting for Ninaithalae?

A: It was indeed joyous with the whole cast and crew showering me with encouragement. In a feel-good film, Vishwas Sundar got the best out of me. Having gained the early recognition, I have the confidence to plunge deep and see the career lines.

The appreciation of the audience has lifted my spirits. Like they say, well begun is half done.
