        Amidst the crop of emerging playback singers, newcomer Subesh has earned the approbation of music director Dashi. The audio release of Manavan Ninaithal is still days away but Dashi lost no time to heap praise on the good work of Subesh.

        Dashi too makes his debut in Tamil films, having bagged two films in Malayalam. A just reward for the one, a proven name in background recording with over 1,500 films to his credit, He is due to be honoured by the Kerala State government for his achievement last year.

        Dashi's desire is to introduce talented singers in the lines of Subesh. In his view, variety is the spice of music. The aspirants can take heart that his doors are always open.

        Director S P Gnanamozhi, who has also handled the story, screenplay and dialogues, was present during the recording.
