        Grapevine has it that Shriya will play Silambarasan's heroine soon. The actor will soon commence shooting for a movie titled Silambattam. The film marks the directorial debut of cinematographer Saravanan. Shriya, a popular actress in Tollywood, shot to fame with Sivaji sharing the screen with Rajnikanth. She is currently acting with Vijay in Azhagiya Thamizh Magan and Kanthaswamy opposite Vikram. Lakshmi Movie Makers, the producers of Silambattam, have reportedly agreed to pay Shriya a hefty salary to be part of the movie.
