        Kollywood reports have it that the storyline of Jithan Ramesh's upcoming film Puli Varudhu and Vijay starrer Azhagiya Tamizh Magan are quite similar. Pulivarudhu is about a youth who has Extra Sensory Perception (ESP) and comes to know through is dreams what would happen the next day. The problems that he faces because of his ESP and how he overcomes forms the major part of the story.

        According to GV Kumar, who directs Puli Varudhu, ' several people have asked me the same question. However, I don't know what the story of Azhagiya Thamizh Magan is.'

        'The story of Puli Varudhu was conceived almost a couple of years ago by me and I have registered it with the writer's association. The storywriter of Azhagiya Thamizh Magan Jeeva and I are friends and we both discussed the story long back. Even if they are inspired by the same theme, all depends on how we present it on the screen'.

        Kumar says, 'Puli Varudhu featuring Ramesh and Mallika Kapoor is a hilarious entertainer. We have taken utmost care to render it in a hilarious way. I am confident that the audience would lap it up'. Plans are on to release the movie next month.

        The movie has a huge cast and includes, among others, Karunaas, Manivannan, Saranya, and Kuyili. Srikanth Deva is scoring music for the movie.
