        While Sivaji is making waves across the globe with whopping collections, director Shankar is all set for his dream venture, Robot. This quiant science fiction film with Shahrukh Khan in the lead, marks a new Shankar venture in Hindi.

        Though Shankar has had hits with Humse Hai Muqabla and Hindustani in Hindi, Robot will only be his second straight Hindi film following Nayak. Nayak starred Anil Kapoor and Rani Mukherjee. It was a remake of the Tamil hit Mudhalvan, but the movie did not quite work the same magic on the Hindi audience as it did on the Tamil.

        Robot in that sense his first real original venture in Hindi. It will be produced by Red Chilies Entertainment, a production house of Shahrukh Khan. The movie, replete with techno-jazz effects, will be released in Tamil, Telugu and other languages as well.
