Music & acting are my two eyes: Andrea Jeremiah

“I don’t mind doing multi-starrers. If the story is good and there is scope for me to excel on screen, I agree to do it,” says actress Andrea.

Her recent release ‘Vishwaroopam 2’ won her greater acclaims. “She has some dardevil stunts to perform in the movie. It was a pleasure to work with Kamal sir. Learnt a lot from him,” she says.

Excerpts from her interview

Q: You are interested in music. Which is your priority – singing or acting?

A: I love both. I don’t find any difference between them. Whenever I get good roles, I will act and if I come across a wonderful song, I am ready to croon.

Q: On being part of ‘Vada Chennai’?

A: It is a wonderful film. Vettrimaran is an excellent filmmaker. My role is intense and has come very good. I haven’t accepted any offer now. Currently I am busy dubbing for ‘Vada Chennai’.

Q: What is your future plan?

A: I don’t even know what is going to be my lunch or dinner for the day. I take things as it comes.

Q: How do you complaints of ‘casting couch’ by Sri Reddy?

A: If her allegation are true, she deserves a pat for speaking with ‘guts’ in public. I haven’t come across any such incidents in my career. Those found guilty should be punished.

Q: How is life post ‘Vishwaroopam’ series?

A: Untill ‘Vishwaroopam’ series happened, I thought acting was just entertainment. But I feel more responsible as an actress after the film(s). People should be aware of what is happening around them. Every individual should have a social obligation.
