Aari, who was last seen in this year’s Nagesh Thiraiyarangam, is playing the lead Ellam Mela Irukkuravan Paathuppaan. Directed by newbie U Kaviraj, the film is produced by Rowther Films, which is making a comeback after a long time.
Speaking about the film, Aari says, “It’s a commercial science fiction space film with aliens and spaceships.”
Sakshivi Bala plays the heroine. ‘Nan Kadavul’ Rajendran, Bhagavathy Perumal and veteran actor Nagesh’s grandson Bijesh are also in the cast. Cinematography is by Lakshman and music by Karthik Acharya. The first look of the movie was released Friday.
