There were rumours that Kamal Haasan’s Indian 2 has been shelved. However sources close to actor Kamal Haasan say that the movie is very much on and shooting will begin this August.
“When you bring two of the biggest and the best action superstars of India in one film and pit them against each other, you need a title that justifies the promise of a massive showdown. Hrithik and Tiger will be seen going at each other ferociously and mercilessly and audiences will want to see who outwits whom in this incredible fight,”
We initially started it as a comedy film. But today, it has grown big. We have added enough elements to make it an engaging fare. The whole team worked hard and the end product is satisfactory. Heaping laurels on AK, Dhruva, said, “He has given his best. A good movie with a string content too needs to get right screens. We are confident that Super Duper would make it big.
“It is India’s first film on Sumo fighters. Due credit should be given to Japanese government and their embassy for helping us shoot scenes involving sumo fighters in India and Japan. Noted cinematographer P C Sreeram, who had been to Cannes International Film Festival, was mightily impressed with the story and readily agreed to crank the camera for Sumo.”
