Sruti season 2, an online singing contest exclusively for Tamil film songs was launched recently and the finals to be held on 19 January. Sruti is an idea conceived by singers and jury members of the popular music reality show on Zee Tamil, SaReGaMaPa – Vinod Venugopal and Reshmi.
Sruti gives a platform to participate in a singing contest from the comforts of one’s home. Sruti’s goal is to become the largest community of Tamil music singers in the world who produce authentic, yet groundbreaking performances. The whole competition runs online.The contestants should use the website www.singinsruti.com to register and submit their entries. The entire competition is spread over 60 days.
