Nirbhaya case: Tihar jail supplies all documents to convicts’ lawyer
The Delhi Police today told a Delhi court that the Tihar jail authorities have supplied all the relevant documents sought by the lawyer of the death row convicts in the 2012 Nirbhaya gang rape and murder case. The public prosecutor, appearing for police, told Additional Sessions Judge Ajay Kumar Jain that the convicts are only adopting “delaying tactics”.

Cut in power supply
TANGEDCO has announced that electricity supply will be suspended in few places in city Monday, from 9 am to 4 pm for maintenance work. According to a press release, the power supply will be resumed even before 4 pm if the works are completed. The power supply will be halted in the following areas.

The “green man”

TNPSC scam: 2 more persons arrested
A broker was arrested today in Cuddalore in link with the malpractices in Tamilnadu Public Service Commission’s (TNPSC) Group IV examination held last year. One more person has also been detained, sources said.
