It has been a challenging few days as we fight the outbreak of Covid 19 pandemic worldwide. Everyone have to play their part right to flatten the curve. Amidst all this, the quarantine seems to be like a reality check for many people out there.

Tamilnadu Chief Minister Edappadi K Palaniswami today urged the Union government to grant Rs 9,000 crore to the State for coronavirus impact relief works after borrowing from Reserve Bank of India.

DMK president M K Stalin today said the AIADMK government must immediately convene an all-party meeting, at least through videoconferencing, and involve all parties in taking steps for preventing further spread of coronavirus.

In what appears to be a case of serious concern, two more people tested positive for the Covid-19 today, taking the total number of cases in Tamilnadu to 40.

Covid-19, the disease caused by the novel coronavirus, has infected more than 3.75 lakh people worldwide.

Conventional plant breeding techniques have significantly increased crop productivity and yield; however, new approaches are required to further improve crop production in order to meet the growing global demand for food.

“It has been a few months now where reality has hit all of us. Thousands of human beings have been the victims of the dreaded disease, coronavirus all over the world that has affected the human lives leaving many dead across the globe”, said the Prince of Arcot, Nawab Mohammed Abdul Ali.
