Shriram Ilakkiya Kazhagam, the literary wing of Shriram group, one of India’s leading non-banking financial companies, is organizing Thirukkural Elocution, Drawing & Essay Contests 2023, the annual state-level competition from 7th Oct. to 19th Nov. 2023, for school and college students across 12 centres covering Tamil Nadu and Puducherry. A press release said,”The Chennai zone competitions will be held at CSI Jessie Moses Matriculation Higher Secondary School, Anna Nagar on 7th Oct. 2023 and at Christ King Girls Higher Secondary School, East Tambaram on 14th Oct. 2023; Puducherry zone competition will be held at St. Anthony’s High School, Maraimalai Adigal Road on 15th Oct. 2023. The contest at other cities will be held as follows: Vellore on 8th Oct. 2023, Tanjore on 21st Oct. 2023, Thiruvarur on 22nd Oct. 2023, Salem on 28th Oct. 2023, Trichy on 29th Oct. 2023, Nellai on 4th Nov. 2023, Madurai on 5th Nov. 2023, Coimbatore on 18th Nov. 2023, Erode on 19th Nov. 2023.” Last date for submitting the filled in application form is 30th Sep. 2023.
