Chennai-Tirupati train services disrupted due to tunneling work

Southern Railway has announced the cancellation and diversion of train services between Chennai Central and Tirupati due to tunneling work scheduled to take place between Jolarpet and Somanayakanpatti stations. This disruption will affect passengers traveling on the Chennai Central – Tirupati Express and the Kaveri Express. The Bengaluru Express (Train No: 12658) departing from Chennai Central on September 12 will depart at 12:20 AM instead of its usual schedule of 10:50 PM, resulting in a delay of one hour and 30 minutes. Passengers planning to travel on these routes during the mentioned dates are advised to take note of these changes and plan their journeys accordingly.
