DMK district secretaries meet on 1 Oct


In a significant move, the DMK has called for a crucial meeting of its district secretaries and booth agents, scheduled for October 1, to discuss and strategise for the impending electoral battle.The announcement, made by DMK General Secretary Duraimurugan, has generated considerable anticipation within the party and the political landscape of Tamil Nadu. Chief Minister MK Stalin, who also leads the DMK, is set to chair this virtual meeting, which is slated to commence at 10.30 am on Sunday. While the official announcement did not disclose the agenda of the meeting, insiders have hinted that the primary focus will be the forthcoming Lok Sabha elections.This gathering marks the continuation of Chief Minister Stalin’s efforts to connect directly with the grassroots level of the party. He has previously conducted three rounds of zonal meetings with booth agents to streamline the party’s preparations for the Lok Sabha polls. Notably, these meetings took place in different regions of Tamil Nadu, with the latest being held in Kangeyam, Tiruppur, where the western zone’s booth agents convened.
