Stalin minced no words in his condemnation of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and its leaders, accusing them of resorting to deceit and falsehoods in their campaign tactics. He lamented the BJP’s lack of substantive achievements in Tamil Nadu over the past decade and criticized their strategy of vilifying the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) instead.
From the highest echelons of power to grassroots party functionaries, Stalin alleged that the BJP had spearheaded a concerted campaign of misinformation aimed at tarnishing the reputation of the DMK. He decried the BJP’s efforts to portray Tamils as terrorists, labeling it as a deliberate attempt to sow division and discord.
In contrast, Stalin rallied his party cadre around the principles of social justice championed by Periyar, the discipline instilled by Anna, and the achievements of the DMK regime under the leadership of Kalaignar. He framed the upcoming elections not merely as a contest for power but as a battle to safeguard democracy itself.
Appealing to his party cadre to mobilize grassroots support, Stalin urged them to educate voters about the BJP’s vindictive approach towards Tamil Nadu and the complicity of the All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (AIADMK) in enabling BJP’s actions. He underscored the importance of exposing the BJP’s divisive tactics and rallying support for the DMK’s vision of inclusive governance and social progress.
