Chennai: Applications are invited for the Chief Minister’s Award for Excellence in e-governance for the year 2018-19 hackathon event.
According to a press release, students above 18 years, studying in polytechnic, engineering colleges, arts and science colleges and universities are eligible.
The applicants should submit a project abstract under any of the following categories – Development of applications using data analytics, mobile technology and artificial intelligence.
The team size should be four to six students and each college can nominate one team in each category.
The principal of the respective college must verify and approve the project before sending the nomination in the prescribed format.
The hackathon event will be conducted on 8 September at Tech Mahindra, Sholinganallur. .
The prize money for each category would be Rs 2 lakh, trophy and certificates for the winning teams.
Students should apply at ciiconnect.org on or before 1 September.
