Cuddalore: V Anbuselvan, who was formerly Chennai Collector, took charge as the Collector of Cuddalore on Wednesday.
Prior to being Chennai Collector, he was the Deputy Commissioner of Greater Chennai Corporation.
During the swearing-in ceremony on Wednesday, he said, “I will be a Collector who is easily approachable by the people. I will unite all officials and help for the development of the district.”
“As Cuddalore is a flood-prone area, I will take all preventive measures before the start of the monsoon rains,” he said.
