Chennai: Deputy Chief Minister O Panneerselvam today said the alliance headed by AIADMK will emerge victorious in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.
Panneerselvam, who was in Thiruparankundram temple to offer prayers, said work for the by-poll in the constituency, which fell vacant after the demise of MLA A K Bose will begin after the election dates are announced.
He said there is no chance of Amma Makkal Munetra Kazhagam leader T T V Dhinakaran getting back to the AIADMK again.
“The present AIADMK is the result of the ‘dharma yudhdham’ which freed the party from the clutches of V K Sasikala and her family,” said the AIADMK coordinator.
He further said that Makkal Needhi Maiam founder and actor Kamal Haasan is someone who keeps changing his views every second.
“I do not have to respond to his statements,” he said. Panneerselvam added that he does not have to answer to speculations, when asked about Tamilnadu Congress Committee president S Thirunavukarasar’s comments about split in the AIADMK.
Asked about reports on Cabinet reshuffle, Panneerselvam said, “Chief Minister Edappadi K Palaniswami can alone decide on it.”
