‘Seema Raja’ gets ‘U’ certification from censor board

Chennai: Sivakarthikeyan starrer Seema Raja has been censored and the commercial entertainer has managed a clean ‘U’ certificate.

Directed by Pon Ram, the movie stars Samantha as heroine. Soori plays a comedian in this rural entertainer.

Produced by 24AM Studios, it will be out in maximum screens with early morning show across theatres on 13 September.

Ponram who is known for his two blockbuster hits Varuthapadatha Valibar Sangam and Rajini Murugan, said, “When I was in Madurai for the location hunt of Rajini Murugan, came to know that the descendants of a King’s family are still leading a majestic lifestyle. Seema Raja talks about one such modern king’s life.”

Sivakarthikeyan plays Seema Raja in the film which also has a social message. Samantha plays a Silambam teacher named Suthanthira Devi. Napoleon plays Sivakarthikeyan’s dad and Simran will be seen as the antagonist.”

Imman is composing the music for the film and the audio launch of the movie took place in Madurai.
