Jyothika-starrer Kaatrin Mozhi was supposed to hit the screens for Pooja holidays in October. But the makers have announced that the release has been postponed and the movie would be released November.
Kaatrin Mozhi producer Dhananjayan tweeted that he has pushed the release date to November to avoid needless clash at the box office.
Dhanush’s Vada Chennai will be releasing 17 October, Vishal’s Sandakozhi 2, producer J Satish Kumar’s Andaava Kaanom, Ezhumin, and Thirupathi Saamy Kudumbam are scheduled to release on 18 October.
“#KaatrinMozhi release date: it’s raining new films week after week. We scheduled for October 18 but looking at the list approved, it will be a hard battle to get proper theatres / shows. So, we’re postponing the release to November, post Diwali. Will keep you updated. Thank you,” tweeted Dhananjayan.
Directed by Radha Mohan of Mozhi fame, Kaatrin Mozhi also has Vidharth and Lakshmi Manchu in pivotal roles.
