Chennai: Om Sairam Charitable Trust celebrated 100 years Maha Samadhi of Shridi Sai Baba at Amma Arangam, Anna Nagar on 6 October with bhajans and cultural programs on the life history of Sai Baba.
A press release said devotees from Shri Shiridi Sai Seva Samaj of West Mambalam organised a Sai Palki Procession chanting bhajans.
“Group dance on the life history was presented by a special dance troupe from Coimbatore with a message that Sai Baba promoted religious harmony. A special song performance on Sai Baba’s life history was given by Sai Vignesh and Shri Misha. Managing trustee of the Om Sairam Charitable Trust D Saravanan honoured the artistes at the end of the programme after Aarathi,” the release added.
All India Sai Samaj,informed that 100th Maha samadhi events of Shridi Sai Baba will happen from 8 to 26 October at Mylapore temple with Bhajans and discourses on Sai baba..
Trustees E Jayaprakash and Venkateswara Rao distributed anna prasadams and Baba Udhi/ photos of baba to all the devotees.
