Chennai: “Dhanush is a great entertainer and a wonderful performer,” says filmmaker Vetri Maaran.
The national award winning filmmaker joins hands with Dhanush for Vada Chennai which will hit the screens 17 October.
Besides Dhanush, the movie stars Aishwarya Rakesh, Andrea, Samuthirakani, Ameer, Daniel Balaji, Pavan among others. Music is by Santosh Narayanan.
Speaking about the film,Vetri Maaran, said, “In the film, Dhanush has three different transitions and pulled it off with a great ease. Working with the likes of Ameer and Samuthirakani was a comfort for me. They keenly observed the flaws on the shooting spot, corrected themselves and also helped each other.”
On his part, Dhanush, said, “To work with Vetri Maaran is a delight. After Vada Chennai, we are joining hands again for a movie soon. The highlight of the movie is Ameer’s performance. Andrea and Aishwarya Rajesh have done full justice to their characters.”
“I thank everyone who worked tirelessly day and night to get everything right,” he added.
Thanking Vetri Maaran for the opportunity, Aishwarya Rajesh, said, “I share screen with Dhanush for the first time. My character has been written well. Audience will love it.”
Echoing the same, Andrea, said, “Vetri Maaranknows what the audience wants and delivered the same in Vada Chennai.”
Heaping praises on Dhanush, Ameer, said, “He is a tireless worker. Dhanush has given his best in every frame. Andrea proved everyone that she can act with Taramani. Vada Chennai will bring her more glory.” Santosh Narayanan, Daniel Balaji and Pavan also spoke on the occasion.
