Chennai: A second caveat has been filed in the Supreme Court in the 18 AIADMK MLAs disqualification case.
AIADMK whip Rajendran filed the caveat in the court this morning.
Tamilnadu Assembly Speaker P Dhanapal has already filed a caveat in the Supreme Court in the case.
With the third judge of the Madras High Court, Justice Sathyanarayana, upholding the disqualification of the 18 MLAs, owing allegiance to Amma Makkal Munnetra Kazhagam leader T T V Dhinakaran, there is talk of going on appeal in the Supreme Court.
So, the Speaker and whip have filed caveats in the top court to not to hear the case without giving them an opportunity to represent their side.
