Eikowa – an organisation working to improve access in the Indian art ecosystem hosted the artworks of 15 selected artists from across the country at Palladium, Velacheri, as a part of a weekend-long art and culture festivities from 2 to 4 November.
Center director at Palladium and Phoenix Market City, Murugan Rajan said, “We are delighted to have brought on board Eikowa for this pop-up exhibition, as a confluence of art, culture and luxury shopping. We want to bring a host of activities and activations to Chennai alongside our stores.”
The event was launched with wine and cheese tasting alongside a live painting exhibition by artist Dinkar Jadhev. There was also a very special mandolin performance by musician U Rajesh on 4 November.
The Eikowa Art Pop-Up also included a fragrance pop-up 10 brands from Shoppers Stop and special decor inspired by the timeless Amar Chitra Katha comics. Palladium invited the Amar Chitra Katha team from Bangalore to conduct a workshop which was attended by 100 kids from the city’s top schools.
