College student injures 3 in road mishap

Chennai: A college student left two women and a girl child injured after he lost control of his vehicle and hit pedestrians at Thirumangalam.

According to police sources, Andrew Roy (19), a student of a private college, was riding his two-wheeler at Pari Street last evening when he allegedly lost control of his vehicle and hit against the trio who were walking on the side of the road.

The victims were identified as Shakuntala (65), Eswari (35) and her daughter Ashika (8).

The four were rushed to a private hospital and treated for the injuries they suffered in the mishap.
Thirumangalam Traffic Investigation wing has registered a case against Andrew.
