Amala Paul turns action heroine in Adho Andha Paravai Pole

Amala Paul will be seen in a contemporary role in her next film. The actress plays a young woman entrepreneur who visits a jungle in one of her trekking adventure trips and gets lost on the dense woods in her upcoming female-centric adventure thriller Adho Andha Paravai Pole.

Directed by Vinoth KR, the Mynaa actress had to perform several physically demanding stunts in rough terrains. Samir Kochar of IPL fame debuts in K’town with an important role.

Director Vinoth, a former assistant of director Kicha, says, “The action-adventure survival thriller set in the wilderness of the Western Ghats in Tamilnadu close to the borders of Karnataka and Kerala. The entire movie is shot in the forest areas and it was tough to shoot in the rough terrain with changing climatic conditions. Cinematographer Santhakumar has composed his shots with the available natural lights.”

On Adho Andha Paravai Pole title, which is the first line of famous MGR song, he says, “It is directly related to the story. If you had noticed the entire song has been placed in legendary MGR’s film in the context of ‘freedom’ or ‘liberty’. Here also it denotes the same thing.”

Ashish Vidyarthi plays a key character, a native of the ghats and working at a lower cadre with the forest department.
