Chennai: Following a series of internal party issues, the AIADMK headquarters has requested the Election Commission of India to allow them to conduct their general council meeting after December 2018.
Reports say that the party has asked for a consideration of the ECI to postpone the meeting that is supposed to be held before December 2018.
Also, the party headquarters has said the meeting would be organised before the parliamentary election 2019. However, the reason for requesting the postponement of the meeting has not been revealed.
