C K Nayudu cup: TN’s Mohan Prasath wrecks Assam with six-wicket haul

Chennai: Left-arm spinner S Mohan Prasath continued his rich form, taking six for 53 to help Tamilnadu U-23 bowl out Assam for 128 on the first day of the Col CK Nayudu Elite Group A match in Dindigul.

Assam’s opening batsman Subham Mandal carried his bat through remaining unbeaten on 55 (142 b, 6×4).  TN’s other left-arm spinner, M Siddharth, scalped three wickets for 24. At stumps, TN made a strong reply scoring 129 for one with Aditya Barooah 60 batting (148 b, 6×4) and S Radhakrishnan giving him company on 62 off 103 balls.
