After the negative reception and criticisms he received for his recently released adult comedy movie Ivanukku Engeyo Machcham Irukku, actor Vemal has quickly moved on to his next, a comedy caper.
Majid who did films like Tamizhan with Vijay and more recently Torch Light with Sada will be wielding the megaphone for the film, titled, The Broker with the tagline ‘Nambi Vaanga Santhoshama Ponga’.
Diana Champika of Annadurai fame will be romancing Vemal. Vemal will be seen essaying a broker who mediates for everything, from renting a house to buying a property or fix a marriage.
Says Majid, “It is a fun-filled entertainer and our only aim is to make the audiences laugh with healthy comedy.” And hence he has roped in several comedians, including the happening Yogi Babu, MS Bhaskar, Ravi Mariya, Vinodh, Thambi Ramaiah and Mayilsamy. The movie went on floors recently in Chennai.
