CMRL to organise month-long medical screening in Metro stations

Chennai: Chennai Metro Rail Ltd (CMRL) in association with MGM Healthcare will be conducting a free medical screening camp at several Metro stations for the benefit of its passengers and general public from tomorrow till the end of this month.

Speaking to News Today, a CMRL spokesperson said, “On the camp dates, the event will take place between 8 am and 11 am. All the participants will be screened for height, weight, blood pressure (BP), random blood sugar using One Touch equipment, Spo2 and heart rate. The camp also covers a free consultation and people can make use of it”.

Both metro rail passengers as well as general public participated, had a free consultation and an oral health screening.

The department also came into picture when it brought in a team of 25 doctors headed by Dr Jaideep Mahendra, Director of Post Graduate Studies, Meenakshi Ammal Dental College, Maduravoyal, for a similar dental camp in August last year.
