DMK treasurer Durai Murugan discharged after hospitalisation in Chennai

Chennai: DMK treasurer Durai Murugan was hospitalised during the wee hours of today as he complained of chest pain.

Sources said he was admitted to Apollo Hospitals on Greams Road. He was discharged after treatment. Speaking to mediapersons later, Durai Murugan said he was healthy. He also took part in the Assembly proceedings today.

It may be noted that an emotional Durai Murugan broke down in the Assembly yesterday when he was speaking on the condolence resolution on former DMK chief M Karunanidhi.

In his speech, he said he never thought he would be mourn Karunanidhi’s death as he thought it would be DMK president who would be mourning his demise.
