Chennai: BJP president Amit Shah presented the plans and upcoming political moves of the party during the 2019 Lok Sabha election at the annual meeting of the RSS that kicked off in Chennai Monday.
The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh meets annually along with its allied organisations including the BJP, Vishva Hindu Parishad and Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad. This year, the meeting which is happening for three days started at Uthandi on the outskirts of Chennai on Monday and would go on till Wednesday.
Speaking at the event, Amit Shah briefed about the activities and developments of BJP last year. Also, it is said that the BJP national leader outlined the strategies and policy decisions of the party during the elections.
Sources said that Amit Shah reached Chennai by air from New Delhi and travelled from airport to the meeting venue by car on Monday evening.
