Aishwarya Rajesh took a dig at fake success meets in Tamil cinema recently. Speaking at an event organised to celebrate the good run of her movie Kanaa, the actress, said, “Kanaa was initially released in a less number of screens but slowly the screen count got increased and today we have tasted the victory. This is the real success meet. But there are film units who are celebrating success without even knowing whether they attained real success or not.”
However, within a day, she chose to clarify her statement. Taking to her social media account, she wrote, “It was jus a fun. Speech for #KanaaSuccessMeet I din. Mean. Any movie. Here. an. Neve hurt anyone I always . Pray for all d movies to become blockbuster hit .. I know how hard it is to make a movie an make it huge. Success. Really sorry if my statement hurt. Any….”.
