Chennai: Appayya Dikshitha Foundation, Kottivakkam, is organising a mass Gho-pooja for the cows which are being protected and maintained at the Indian Institute of Animal Welfare, located at No.3, Ninth South Cross Street, Sri Kapaleeswarar Nagar, Neelankarai, at 4.30 pm, on 16 January 2019.
A press release said, apart from the pooja, a Harikatha on Andal Mahimai will be presented by Ahashya Raghuraman and a special address will be given by V Nagaraj of Samskrita Patana Kendra, on the significance of Gho-Samrakshana.
