Five women rescued from massage parlour in Chennai

Chennai: Five women were rescued after a raid at a massage parlour in the city.

According to the police, a team headed by Sub-Inspector of police carried out a raid at a massage parlour in Sridevi Kuppam Main Road, Valsaravakkam, based on a tip-off.

Police claimed the parlour did not have the required license for functioning. One woman was arrested and five girls, including one from Kolkatta were rescued and sent to a shelter home by the police. The 42-year-old owner of the place was arrested. Further inquiries are underway.
