The Madras High Court (MHC) has revoked Goondas Act that was imposed on 16 accused involved in the heinous rape and torture of a speech and hearing impaired girl in July 2018.
As per reports, the trial in the Ayanavaram child rape case is expected to begin 18 January.
Totally, 81 witnesses are to be examined before a Mahila court on the High Court campus. A total of 17 men were charged various sections and Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act.
