Chennai: DMK president M K Stalin will be leaving for Kolkata tomorrow to participate in the all-India Opposition party meet to be held 19 January.
Arranged by West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, the meeting will discuss electoral campaigns and other tactics that are to be followed against BJP in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.
It is be noted that the first stage of discussions took place in New Delhi and was headed by Sonia Gandhi. Following this, Sonia made a visit to Chennai to open late Chief Minister M Karunanidhi’s statue. Prominent leaders of southern regions also took part in the event.
