Hyderabad: Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) working president K T Rama Rao on Wednesday was enthralled by a picture of former Jammu and Kashmir chief minister Omar Abdullah’s snow-capped house in Srinagar.
Rao, son of Telangana chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, expressed his wish to have a residence there. Abdullah invited the TRS leader to stay in his house any time he wanted.
Kashmir valley has been experiencing snowfall as it is Chillai-Kalan, the 40-day coldest period of winter, in Kashmir now. The chances of snowfall are most frequent and maximum during this time.
Taking to Twitter, Rao said, “If only there was a wish-granting factory, I’d have one right there; somewhere closer.” Abdullah tweeted back by saying, “Treat mine as yours and stay any time you like.” In response to this, Rao said, “Hey, I am gonna take that offer rather seriously Omar Saab.”
The cordiality between the two leaders comes at a time when TRS chief Chandrasekhar Rao is making efforts to launch a federal front of non-Congress non-BJP parties.
