CAIT to start campaign to establish importance of traders in LS polls

The Confederation of All India Traders (CAIT) will launch a nation-wide campaign to establish the importance of the trading community in the upcoming Lok Sabha polls.

CAIT secretary general, Praveen Khandelwal said in a statement that the national campaign titled – One Nation-One Trader-Ten Votes will establish the importance of trading community in polls.

“The Lok Sabha poll is an opportunity to underline our importance in the Indian economy and we are gearing ourselves for the cause,” he said.

As part of the campaign, special teams of local trade associations in each city affiliated with the association will contact traders in their respective area and will make them aware of the importance of traders in the national economy and urge them to cast their vote on the whip by CAIT.
