Chennai: M K Stalin on Sunday alleged that a yagna was conducted at O Panneerselvam’s office at the Secretariat in Chennai and asked what right he had as Fort St George was common to people of all religions.
The DMK chief also claimed that the Deputy Chief Minister had held the yagna to get the chief minister’s post.
The AIADMK, however, dismissed Stalin’s claim and said that it was a rumour spread by the DMK with an intention of dividing the party.
Senior AIADMK leader D Jayakumar asked what evidence is there to prove Stalin’s claims. It was unauthentic and a rumour.
He further lashed out at Stalin and said that DMK had the backing of TTV Dhinakaran. He said that Dhinakaran and DMK were conspiring together to dislodge his party and such efforts will not succeed.
