Owaisi slams Javadekar’s comments, says it reflects BJP’s fascist thinking

Hyderabad: AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi on Monday slammed Union minister Prakash Javadekar for stating that there was no alternative to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and there would be anarchy in his absence.

Javadekar’s remarks come after the Trinamool Congress chief Mamata Banerjee had organised a rally on 19 January.

Owaisi said that the Union minister’s remarks reflected the BJP’s fascist mindset and thinking. He also claimed that the country wants a non-BJP, non-Congress government at the Centre and that when this happens and there will be chaos within the RSS and BJP.

Owaisi said that Javadekar’s statement was classic fascist mindset. Every fascist thinks that his leader was bigger than the country. He added that even if there are lakhs of Modis, Rahul Gandhis or Owaisis they are not bigger than the country. The country gives them their identity.  There will be anarchy and chaos within the RSS and BJP once BJP is thrown out by the people, he added.

Speaking to reporters, he said it was very unfortunate that the BJP did not see anarchy and chaos happening in the country after demonetisation and the Goods and Services Tax. He also further said there was no normalcy in Kashmir.

When asked whether Mamata Banerjee was emerging as a strong contender for Prime Minister’s post, Owaisi replied there were many capable leaders better than Modi and Rahul Gandhi, who can lead this country and create a new India and who can address the challenges which the poor of this country and the farmers are facing.

KCR has the political sagacity. He is a statesman and has a vision. Who will lead this country will be decided at an appropriate time, Owaisi said when asked whether he supports the TRS chief.
