Chennai: The Madras High Court has asked the State government to submit a detailed report on the Global Investors Meets held in 2015 and 2019.
A petition filed by a company seeking the framing of guidelines for the GIM was taken up for hearing by Judges, Justice M Sathyanarayanan and Justice P Rajamanickam today during which they asked the status of the projects that were signed during the GIM 2015.
The judges also asked the government to submit a detailed report about the number of MoUs that were signed in 2015.
After issuing the orders, the court dismissed the plea filed by the company.
The second-edition of the Global Investors Meet was inaugurated by Chief Minister Edappadi K Palaniswami on 23 January and was concluded yesterday.
