Impressive show by Shubang

Chennai: Shubang Mishra (72) scored a half-century to help St Bede’s AIHSS (Chennai) defeat Neelambal Subramaniam HSS (Salem) by a mammoth 150 runs in the final phase of the Muthoot Group Junior Super Kings Inter-School T20 tournament at the ICL Cricket Ground in Tirunelveli.

Batting first, St Bede’s posted a healthy score of 193 for two at the conclusion of the first innings. Shubang was its best batsman, smashing 10 boundaries during his 43-ball stay. The victor reduced Neelambal to a paltry 43 in 10.2 overs courtesy a five-wicket haul from I Vetrivel (5/8).
